Like any poor kart set up it will affect lap times - how much will depend on just how bad it is. It will go round some corners like it is on rails will the opposite will be the case in the other direction.

Have you checked all the items listed above? If you need any new parts MS/Lucas will be at WL next race weekend. Otherwise I will carry a full spares package at future race weekends. But check all the settings mentioned before you start spending cash - more often than not it is something simple in the set-up.
