Karting has ALWAYS been a 'non-contact' sport in NAME for O*N*L*Y!

It has become WORSE as the behaviour of the PUBLIC has become worse and since the introduction of Plastic Tupperware! Both are CAUSES of the problem!

It will REMAIN so until some of Y*O*U DO something about it BY PROTESTING! By the sounds of it, you will NOT be the catalyst which CHANGES that position!

Having said all that, it's not as BAD as it was at ONE time! I'll explain.....

Most of you know the name of the plastic panel infront of your steering column as the Nassau Panlel but may NOT have asked WHY it's called that! The reason was that they first became apparent at the World Championship (late 1950s early 1960s?) round HELD in Nassau..... where certain American drivers had (alledgedly) taped BASE BALL BATS behind those panels..... in case 'post incident discussions' didn't quite go their way.....

It's not quite THAT bad today, is it!
