Adam,

It will simply be stainless or high tension steel threaded bar. You might have to buy a 3m length but i would have thought that bolt suppliers or steel stockholders might be able to supply or point you in the right direction. I was given a length of M8 from one of the lads at Tockwith/WL and will ask the next time I speak to him. But i bet a 3m length will be cheaper than buying from a kart supplier!!
