The Prokart grid races at one at the moment, however, if the numbers increase within each sub-class (which we anticipate) Ian will consider splitting the grid. Prizes and points are, however, awarded based on your finishing position in your class.

The definitions are pretty loose at the moment as this is the first year that we have split the class in such a way. Experience and past performance is used as a guide which i think we have got reasonably correct. Next year there will be promotion to the Elite class for the top drivers in clubman. Clubman is probably for novices and emerging drivers (and our gentelmen drivers!!).

Equally drivers from other circuits and other classes moving to Pros can choose which best fits their experience and performance at their "home" circuit. Prokarting is a small community, however, and the quick lads from elsewhere will be known to us and peer pressure will ensure they race elite.

It has certainly been positively received thus far and I know of other ex Rotax drivers are looking for kit to join us.
