Greame, I think I have an idea now. the stay is bolted to the BACK of the seat on the brake side, and the stay is bent into position? also is the 7kart engine mount longer at one side than the other. By turning it round the engine moves out about 2 inches from the seat, but you then hit the pod, or do you miss the pad bracket?

Gordon, cheers for that. It is for Nathan. coming over from the dark side. Comer is too fiddly, and I know how good the honda engine is. I don`t know if the comer is needing rebuilt or I`m needing reprogrammed, too much farting about.
