We need those with the cash to invest in the kit that then gets passed down-agreed.
Karting as it is I think is a life trainer:
Learn to loose
Learn that there is always someone with more experience and cash than you have, and has better luck.
And that there is always someone willing to bend the rules and stiff you over- and this will not change with buy back or as it is.
There are very few areas for children to learn what life is really about, and as adults we learn too.

But there is always the sweetness of proving everyone wrong when success comes along!
