Why? So you can carry 5kg less weight?

Carrying that to its logical conclusion, why not have no limit at all, so that the really light drivers don't carry any weight either. Obviously they'd have an unfair advantage but an unfair advantage doesn't seem to bother you so why not?

Some would find it impossible to get down to 175kg, so they'd disadvantaged by birth just so you can carry a bit less weight? I really don't understand the problem, I've got to carry my weight all the time, you just have to carry it for one hour on a Sunday!!

If it was the other way around I'd have no problem carrying the weight, as I think fairness is very important.
