No Graham, you have not gone 'off the point'. That is EXACTLY the point!

I also suspect that if you published the names of the seller of your engine BEFORE it 'got into trouble' (if at all) it may well NOT cause you a legal problem....... but I'd check with a lawyer FIRST!

I agree completely with you about the 'problem' but I don't know the cure! It's EXACTLY the same for Rotax Owners! You can buy a sealed Rotax and find that the contents of the motor are very MUCH 'cheated'. That's EXACTLY what happened to the lads who hired the motors from Christo! It was IMPOSSIBLE for them to check the motors but, to begin with, they were ALL treated as though they had DELIBERATELY cheating!
