as a racer in the subarukart bsc pf does rank as one of the best tracks to race at but do worry there is no prerace checks on karts, some guys buy off ebay and are very new to the sport and some more experienced guys just miss things, in the bsc you have to be checked before hitting the track, this is not for cheating but safety, as subaru drivers rep over the year seen, no brakes, loose front and rear wheels, loose seats, loose calipers, unsafe lead, unsafe fuel lines etc, takes 2 mins for one person to check, pf use to do it and should be brought back, helps everyone

everything i have heard about jamies incident says pf dealt with it very well, if you choose to race non msa like i do you have to accept a ambulance will not be there, msa guys get it because they pay more and more of them so cost is spread

would some prerace safety checks pick up jamies incident, not sure but wouldnt hurt

as for scutting, take it on the chin if you are pulled, at rye house early this year we had 20 mins between races, had to be checked for weight and any scutting plus changed from dry to wet so had to fit wets etc, we moan when no checks then moan when checked, could it be done better, maybe but at least pf is proactive
