Sorry, but Bayford lap record is now 51.63 - set by yours truly on Sunday.
Thanks must go to Frascati who sold me their 'old' engines and who also gave me the tow down the straight - to take Ollie's (Frascati) old record !!!!!
HOWEVER, please don't think you need to be in the 51's to be competitive - this weekend was exceptional, with very fast times from nearly everyone. (Four drivers were all under the old record) Usually, high 52's and low 53's will put you among the leaders.
