No I certainly hadnt found a unicorn, but I know what you mean!.....I should have said "well known".....I didnt want to upset them and I didnt feel the name was relevant, as I'm sure all are doing the same from what I hear.

Ł5K for an engine is nothing compared to what top Rotax motors changed for in S1 in years gone by, Ł10-20K was not uncommon, and I think the engine builders miss those days, they can only make so much money doing rebuilds, but if you sell the odd front running motor here and there for Ł5K, or more, and they know there are plenty of dads who will willingly pay Ł5K, so thats what they do.

Only way to stop it is with pooled engines (with exhausts & ancillaries) owned by the series organiser, and randomly drawn at each round, but that will never happen.
