MSA racing is disappearing really. TKM is still there in places. At least on a National scale, this year it's very healthy (see Motors TV tonight).
I'm in a similar position as you, raced a bit when I was younger, then started racing A&D champs, then a bit of Club100 and then when I had the budget, I bought my TKM in 2013/14 and started racing it at Clay Pigeon. There must be dozens of us who have the disposable income to race but for whatever reason either don't, race Club100 or race Rotax. We're not sure on the answer and it seems to be down to the drivers and tracks to draw new blood to the class as the class owners do very little in that respect.
I think there's an NKF grid of TKM which will involve travelling to other tracks but worth a look.
