It doesn’t sound like the piston is going to change to a single ring type like the Extreme, you can choose to remove the bottom ring if you want. Regarding sticking rings, I have only ever really seen the Dykes ring sticking so again I can’t see why this would save many issues with scrutineering.

I guess we will need to work out what the benefits are but after 20 years using two rings in the 100cc version of the BT82 it seems strange to change it with no explanation.
