Back in the day of the Channel Challenge we regularly ran the old Formula Blue (the aircooled 100cc) and the DAP reed valve in endurance races up to 6 hours.

It died after some teams began turning up with 5 engine sets (throttle cable, carb, engine and exhauset all set up) and mechanics who could refuel, change the tyres and change the engine all in 90 seconds.

So there is no reason why a watercooled Formula Blue shouldn't complete a 4 hour enduro!
