Changed jet setting to 2 & 1/4 low and about 10mins on high.

tried a new carb and had same problem.

Sammy B - Already tried new fuel line & filter, checked fuel flow and full tank of fuel, will check the internal pick up hose and filter and clean that out.

Joey - il give your suggestions a go aswell. any tips for cleaning exhaust? i presume that's what you mean when you say "decoke"?

Another question, slightly off subject but in the same testing session to which i was having the above problmes,

the engine would start fine on the stard (DD. started with a belt) but the kart would not fire up under load when being bumped off.

quick solution at the time was to put another carb on and kart when off first push

Any idea what that might be?

apologies for all the questions guys but im complete novice when it comes to the mechanical side of things.
