More Junior TKM questions...
I've just measured my lads JKH Junior TKM & measured a few bits that I have queries about;
Outside of the rears measure approx 1320, as far as I can go on short hubs... Although I forgot to measure the axle... The puts the centre of the rear wheels in line with the ends of the rear bumper. To run at or near the 1400mm rear width I've been told I'll need a wider bumper, anyone know any other karts that run a bumper that's 570mm wide? (mounting centre points)
I saw someone say about 15mm spacers on the fronts... Is that with the hubs or running wheels with the bearings in? Again I looked, we have hubs that finish flush with the inside edge of the rim & have 30mm spacers on the stub axles.
This all said, running an older chassis with a 30mm axle set up, do I need to go as wide as 1400mm or is that more suited to the nearer designs with 50mm axles?
Sorry if the questions seem a bit silly.
