Strange question saying as you cant push him...not many juniors especially the smaller ones cant push start themselves. You could try a push start bar which helps.
The conversion is very easy, remove clutch, remove sprocket using a puller, put the woodruff key in and bolt on the DD sprocket. Check your alignmet with the axle sprocket and away you go.
