No, they all had 12min plus a lap.
Can I say it was only due to the MASSIVE efforts of the marshals and hkrc members and team who put an enormous effort in to clear the flooded track to get it ready for racing. At one stage it looked like it could have been cancelled, but cool heads prevailed and waited for the rain to stop before taking steps to clear the flooding and making a decision.
From the TV crew's point of view we took a battering, losing two cameras to the rain and gusting winds but we appear to have got through it, with the positive that the new "Spycam" (glasses with an HD camera in the middle enabling someone to wear them next to the track and follow the karts closely as they go past) looks like they will be really useful.... Great to be worn by the CoC to get his view of the action.... and his radio messages live..... Alan Bryant & Iain Blair....you know you want to!
