Thanks to everyone who texted Brian passing on my message. He has been in touch and will be at Kimbolton this weekend.

I have known Brian for a long while and was not worried. I was just wanting to make sure that he would be there with the engine this weekend so we could get it run in.

In more than 20 years of karting we have found that most engine builders rebuild your engine the day before you need it or in some cases when you turn up to collect it.
