It would be great to see an active, well supported Driver Association. Efforts have been made previously to get one going but died through lack of interest. It would be interesting to have occasional posts showing how many drivers have signed up.

One problem is finding an agreed opinion that can be put forward to the ABKC/MSA. Some drivers welcome new classes to provide greater choice and prevent monopolies developing but other are against them as they dilute existing gridsw

The call for a Driver Association appears to crop up when a few people want to push though a change. It happened when there were calls for the Zip nose cone to be banned and when many people were having problems with the Tryton carbs.

This time the `issue' seems to be because the people trying to arrange the Max Series failed to apply for a permit in time.
