Gearing bit. Think of it as driving your car. Third gear is equivalent to your 'bigger ' axle sprocket. Top 5th gear is equivalent to smaller axle sprocket. Third gear gives better acceleration but lower top speed . Leave it in 5th and acceleration suffers but eventually you reach a higher speed.
