Now my lad is getting a bit more confident to take some speed round the bends, I am after a little advise on the best set-up i.e. tyre pressures/ sprocket size/ tracking to give him the best chance of grip and exit speed in both the dry and wet. Whilst he was building his confidence I was advised to run a larger sprocket us running at 89T and 20 psi tyre pressure all round but to my simple mind the smaller the sprocket the faster the drive wheels will turn giving him greater acceleration and top end speed. I am sure it is not as simple as this and would appreciate people’s thoughts and advice.
