Just brought a brand new 'sealed' engine and it will only rev to 8600!
We have ran it in gently. We have tried different jetting higher and lower and settled for a 58 jet seamed to be the best.

When i purchased this engine, the very nice people (I won't tell you where) on the phone said it should rev to about 11000

Is there something that I'm missing.... or is it a case of sending it back to be replaced?
