I hear what you say, but I would have thought that the rear tyre is under the most lateral stress and as the inner bead is smaller than the outer where the bead retainers are then the likelihood is that it will pop off the inner bead? Therefore are bead retainers actually a waste if time?

Anyway this was just to make sure I can get this guy running without Farr from the scrutts. I am sure he will have another set of wheels by the time summer and grip returns to us.
