Hi Iwan,

I would suggest on the engine front, that it will depend on whether you plan to maintain the engine yourself or farm it out to an engine builder for re-builds etc.

If you plan to farm it out, then you may be better sticking with either TM or Pavesi. Both of these have good reliable and recognised engine builders in the UK.

You may struggle to find a competent engine builder in the UK to support the Vortex.

If you plan to maintain it yourself, then either of these engines are a decent bet.

You can get spares for the Vortex readily from Europe at a good price.
