Just to clarify: according to the results sheets, Josh did not race in any of the Qualifying Rounds for the NKRA Championship, so he could not have won them.

What he did do was to win the four heats of the Grand Finale and win the trophy for being first past the post on the day, which is not the same thing as winning the Championship Series.

Well, Josh scored 14 points, having come 11= in the northern region and by getting 12 non attendance points.

The novice, on his fourth race, had got 10 points for his performance and non attendance combined.

No-one is doubting that Josh is a better driver than Taylor, but one has to take part in more than one race to win a Championship series.
