Removed the clutch cover but cant see any obvious damage but not sure what to look. Do I have to remove the clutch to check it.
Also tried to remove the clutch from my spare damaged engine using a piston stop and clutch puller with no joy.
This is how i tried but not sure if im doing it right
Removed the nut and clutch cover and positioned the clutch puller over the big bolt. Lined up the holes and put the long thin bolts in position and screwed them into the clutch forming a triangle. Then put the big nut back on the crank bolt and started to turn it expecting it to pull the clutch out.
It got very tight and didnt pull the clutch out but started to strip the thread off the nut.
