Mentioned oil in pulse-pipe as had previously been suggested that oil in the pipe was a sign of oil seal failure. As not present I assumed seals to be OK, so it now seems these seals could be faulty as I had previously suspected? Looks even more like a home-rebuild is on the cards. Is there any problem with using an unsealed engine for testing/unofficial practice only or would that be "illegal"?
