Tried it, it was a complete nightmare...got a different reading everytime I set it up on the scales!! I used a spirit level to level the scales, that was fiddley, then everytime I put the kart on it everything slipped and had to re-level everything again - just not worth it. Definately worth spending Ł25 to get it done rather than the god awful hassle of doing it yourself (IMO), if indeed it is worth doing.
