'orangeart' that's good advice from 'essex elite' One thing i would say from experience is with a young driver we found an advantage to having a higher center of gravity (COG) You can mount the seat in the correct front/back left/right position but a little higher may also help handling. (well it did for us anyway) It tends to help tip the kart slightly to get the weight in the bends on to the outside tyres. When we had a low COG we just slid sideways in the bends and couldn't get the tyres to bite very easily. We also found that running a Tillet Rain Meister is an instant and quick way to help with this.
