"Looking at the gold book Formula Blue has a 148Kg option- however not many grids"
It's not that much of a problem, there are many people who say that they would be driving Formula Blue if only there was a grid for it.
It's getting the first people to start that's the problem.
For example Duncan McLeod, the FB national number 3 comes from the Midlands area as does Kevin Ford and there's a gridful at Hooton, and the NKRA did a round including Blues recently at Whilton Mill, and there has been a grid in the past at Rissy.
The advantage of the Blue system is that you never have more than 10Kg of ballast on the kart unless the driver weighs below 50 kg as a senior.
