The lads dad phoned me today. I could not believe this could happen. I've never heard or seen anything like this. I told him he needs to talk to the MSA to clarify this new rule.

Seems like some officials make there own rules to suit.

At Rissington yesterday about 70% into a race there was a red flag due to a crash involving the leaders. The race was then restarted in single file for the remaining 3 laps. The karts not running at the time of the red flag were allowed to restart in there position using the go back one lap rule. So the crashed karts were repaired and started from the front. In my rule book it says karts can only re start if the coc and the scrutineer give the go ahead and then only from the back.

Try and explain this and they look at you as if you should not be there paying there wage.
