The sole importer basically suggested "it was your fault" very reminiscent of ZIP regarding the 16 months of the TRYTONe or more cadet carbs fiasco with the MSA not getting involved ducking below the parapet again..
Push them (MSA and Mills) to allow the engines be returned to TAG at a special price for the kit, there must be hundreds of starter kits at IAME that they left off these engines.
We raced IAME Lynx 100cc Formula Blue for 5 years and only had two starter issues, and one seizure running on Castrol A747 when the driver put the genny fuel in for the last heat. Quick hone with 3 legged stone in a cordless drill using brake fluid as lube for stones ,piston from previous 30 hr re-build build,won final !! cracking engines
