All the best to Alan for a speedy recovery from the accident @ Rye yesterday where he was observing. A kart appears to have had brake failure and a combination of kart and tyre wall impacted Alan. Comments elsewhere from Andrew RR indicate that his father had suffered multiple breaks to his legs.
We all hope Alan recovers and we see him at Rye again soon. It is a sober reminder that motor racing is indeed potentially dangerous.
