Having read much about jetting for the snr max on here I am a little curious. A lot speak of this software available which seems very in depth and others use seat of the pants. Starting out last year I thought this was going to be a nightmare and the biggest hurdle due to me being unable to get out and test much. I have only done 3 race days and 2 test days in a max and have never felt the need to change any jetting. I have run 2 different engines with the same carb, still not changed anything. Everytime the engine pulls good and clean, no popping or holding back at top end, plug colour good. So have I
a) Been lucky?
b) Missing out on some form of engine performance not always noticable by extremes of poor running/miss-firing etc?
Any thoughts from the more experienced drivers.
