Is it time for a non MSA National series? Would it work? What are the flaws and would you compete?
Say it was ran across 6 rounds.
Control testing to JUST Saturday.
Keep entry and test fee's low (just high enough to pay circuit rental, insurance & staff etc)
Use harder tyres that last and make it every other round for a set instead of tyres every round.
Nominate a local garage for fuel so your paying pump prices not through the roof prices.
Someone needs to organize a series for the love of the sport, not to make heaps of cash.
I can see this working if someone was to organize it.
If its not governed by the MSA you can also call it what you want, "The UK Karting Nationals" for instance.. Who wouldn't want to become the UK Karting National Champion of their class for less than quarter of the price of Super One Champion. Still Looks good on the CV too ;)
Any thoughts guys?
