We were at that meeting in a different class and saw the final. I was not on the start line but standing by the acceleration line. If p3 had put his hand (which i have to admit to not seeing) officials would have waved the chevron flag and made them go around as happened on previous rounds ?
Did you not protest and put in a formal appeal ? That way it could have been dealt with by the coc.

It's also happened to us at another circuit not too far away and having shown the printout with our driver who started pole being shown on the printout as starting 2nd, we were told there is an element of tolerance.

Very frustrating.
