Following on from the glorious weather we have had this summer - I finally got to use the BBQ... to decoke an exhaust !!!

The exhaust (Comer W60) now looks a bit tatty (and rusty !)and my question is are you allowed to paint them under MSA regs ? If so, what colour / type of paint is allowed or not allowed ? I have got a spare can of black High Temperature paint knocking around and thought that I would put it to some use.

Also, are you allowed to use exhaust sealant on the joints to stop any leaks ?
