Hi there,don't claim to be any form of expert but we went from mini to junior and could not get over 1250ish. Then I noticed on the stand when we revved the engine the exhaust was pushing off the flange, (look carefully) therefore losing back pressure. We now use 2 x springs on each side and then had to mess with the jetting and now regularly pull 14300 and have to gear to stop it going any higher. Massive change just by seeing something by accident!!!
