The first answer has to be that making the adjustment need not be expensive.

Back when I ran an old DAP chassis with a fixed kingpin and variable caster/camber came in, it was possible to just drill out the 8mm hole for the kingpin to 14mm (I think) and insert an eccentric with an 8mm hole.

Originally the adjustment was solely at the top and the yoke was on the stub axle, the bearing tube on the chassis.

Now the yoke is normally on the chassis, the hole is 22mm and the bearing tube is part of the stub axle.

However, what that might do to the homologation might need to be put to a scrutineer.
