the long wire with a 6mm ring on it is not to be connected.
make sure the throttle is copletly shut -slide is right down.

the two thick wires with spade terminals go to the start button the two thin ones go to the on/off switch.

have you got a spark? is there fuel up to the carburetor if so try no throtle or choke and put your hand over the intake tubes on airbox till it fires
