Cadet Kart front fairing waivers
Please note that, further to the article in the January 2012 Scrutineers’ Bulletin regarding the removal of the waivers
covering Zip Kart and NJR Cadet front fairings, due to a number of reasons, including inability by one of the
manufacturers to provide suitable alternatives or conversion kits for older chassis in time, the MSA is obliged to make the
following provision.
In accordance with (U)1.1.3 the MSA gives permission for the Zip Kart and NJR front fairings previously covered under
waivers 01/C(FF)/07 and 02/C(FF)/07 respectively to continue to be used until 31st March 2012. The effect of this specific
permission is that 2012 MSA Kart Race Yearbook regulation B1.3.10 is amended accordingly with the above front fairings
being compliant until 31st March 2012.
