We use Castrol R40 in both TKM and 100cc rotaries.

Whilst there is a tendency to gum up I find just gently lifting the diaphragm through the hole at the bottom of the carb it should fire up next time no problem although it will race initially if you don't hold it back on the brake for a second.

I was put off Shell when we suffered from a bad batch a few years ago that cost me a fortune in engine rebuilds!

Plus the smell is far nicer :)
