No you still use the standard minimax restrictor
The carb restrictor is an addition - it fits inside the carb cap and resticts the throttle slide lift, The clamp ensure the the cap is fully screwed down and fits under the jubilee clips that holds the air box.
You can bet that it will be checked in scrutineering.
