I found out at Kartmania that from Jan 1st all MSA minimax's must use a restrictor in the carb
The restrictor limits throttle opening to about 75% and there is a clamp to prevent the cap being unscrewed on track.The reason,so I'm told is to make the minimax easier to drive for the more inexperienced drivers- Don't know if performace will be greatly affected- however there has been a wide gap between the front runners and the back of the pack.On some track Mini's have faster than Juniors! Maybe the MSA wanted to slow us down.
I think the kit costs about Ł10-Ł15 - Anyone tested if yet?
