Carpet, there was an 8 second difference between some blue top and green top engines in the Senior Blue Final at the Grand finals at Clay this year.

However,as you know, this was due to the fact that some of the grid chose to go out on wets and some chose to go out on slicks and nothing to do with the engines at all. The start of the race favoured wets and the last 5 laps favoured slicks
