Hi Chris, as you say in the first picture your mixture does look a smidge on the weak side, but very little - did you look into the exhaust port and the piston crown as well, a really good indication of mixture. However I am very surprised at the colour your jet change made, shouldn’t have been that rich and wet, think there is something else going on. With top end tuning you can use the floats and float height to good effect (and plug grade). Raise the floats for a little more fuel at the top. We always use the 5.2gms and around a 3mm gap. Bottom end tuning should be done with the needle, needle type and maybe the gearing, if its bogging down (which can also be grip related). When it’s cold we use the K27 and the K98 in warmer months, you will just have to test them out and see what works for you.
