Paul, My son does floor it as the lights go green (along with everyone else) but it seems to accelerate initially, stutters, then picks up again. However, he tells me that if they have an extra rolling lap this doesn't appear to happen!Any ideas?

Race Instructor, I'll check the reed block and see if it has been sealed. Thanks for the advice.
