It really depends on whether she has the physical strength to handle the kart. Juniors have to be 11 to race in JTM so racing is not an option until then.
I would advise extreme caution before lettng her loose in JTKM. They are somewhat more powerful than the prokarts you would have driven and the power delivery of a direct drive BT82 is a bit brutal.
My son started karts in JTKM although he was 13 but small for his age. If I had actually driven a TKM before he started I'm not sure I would have let him. That said he copes well with it and is now racing (MSA) confidently.
I would advise you to either set up the kart so you can have a spin in it first or invest in a practice session with Club 100 as they use the TKM engine. At least then you will be able to make the decision with some knowledge of what you are letting her drive.
Would I have let my lad start karting in a JTKM at 10? Not a cat in hells chance but others may disagree with me. If you do decide to let her have a go please make sure she has very good safety equipment on.
