Lol, although it's only a small difference a larger sprocket should give less friction in the chain. This is exaggerated with small sprockets like the engine sprocket, where on an 11 tooth the chain has to bend a lot more than on a 14. To visualize this take it to extremes and imagine a 4 tooth sprocket, each link will bend at 90 degrees to its neighbour, where on a 100 tooth sprocket it will be only a few degrees. Has that candle gone out yet????
